Fires in Austrailia
Tammy, I've been worried. Are the fires affecting you at all?

Re: Fires in Austrailia
Hi Julie
The fires are in the next state over from me ,about 7 or 8 hrs from us.
Although we have been spared ,its hard not to be affected. Last count 173 people have lost their lives, with the toll set to soar well past that in the coming days ,as forensic police recover bodies from a vast area .Over 800 homes gone,as well as all sorts of business & infrastructure.5000 homeless.
Several whole towns have been incinerated.
overwhelming sadness for our country

My thoughts are with all of the Aussie that are affected by this tragady. Is there an end in sight for the fires to be able to be under controled and stopped any time soon? Please stay safe!!
